Here is an update…

Hello Friends,

It’s been weeks since we met on this blog.  I want to share with you some updates on SPV and PR.

First, they are doing great in what they are currently engaged in.

Couple of weeks back, I heard from SPV that his SEO business is cooking and now he has more than 5 people working for him. Besides, he is scheduled to start his first job in December. Since the time I wrote about him, he had to pass through number of personal challenges at home. But, he did what he needs to take care of those challenging moments and still focused on his SEO business to grow it to next level. I am proud of him. I am sure you all, too.

The other winner, PR, also brought home more laurels. I was thrilled to receive this mail from DI2020:

“We recently executed couple of projects: Exam fee and Oracle Certification fee for our student PR. Oracle university had selected PR and a few more toppers of their college and conducted classes for them and now she has to appear for the exam. Usually, at DI we would not encourage or support such projects, but considering the exceptional performance and responsibility of PR, we thought not supporting her would put undue pressure on her.”

Couple of months ago, DI2020 gifted a laptop (pre-owned) to PR. She had just then scored a wonderful 80% aggregate in her 6th semester. A truly amazing lady out there on the field with a mission!

On DI2020’s blog, I read about a meeting its core members had recently with Dr Abdul Kalam at Chennai Airport. As Dr Kalam’s vision inspired DI2020’s birth, its members are naturally ecstatic about that meeting. I wish I also had a chance to meet with Dr.Kalam as the article helped me visualize the excitement and kindled my passion. I reproduce these powerful words of Dr Kalam quoted in that write up: “What you achieve in your life as told by other person is not important. But, what you achieve for being born in this world in your name is important.”

Contributions of DI2020 to the society is truly amazing. May their tribe grow more in numbers!

I can’t help but think of my mentor on reading Dr Kalam’s words. My mentor said in an entrepreneurial training session“Your success is how many people were positively impacted by you because you lived in this world”.

Great people think alike. This is one more example!

See you soon with the story of RS, which I promised a while ago :)

Till then, Keep Chargin’!

With Love,
